CNTEA sponsored monthly food drive is in full swing and anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated! Here is a photo of last months collection
The blood drive is behind us, and it was the staff that carried it this year! I sent out a plea asking for donors and you stepped up to the plate! We ended up collecting about 33 pints of blood. We even had 3 double donations this evening. (a first!) A lot of the donors who came out tonight were staff members. We had more this year than in the history of the drive.
The drive every year, is a collection of people coming together for nothing more than to be a part of something bigger than themselves… the gift of life, the gift of hope of healing and surviving. Your participation tonight no matter what you did, helped others, and that’s important; you may not feel it, but it’s life changing for someone else. Thank you.
Thank you to the… donors, organizers, prize coordinator, craft room creators and entertainers, suppliers of goods, bakers, custodial staff, posters on web pages and Facebook and… to my late night helpers, thanks for hanging in!
Wow! It seems so simple, “What could it take to run a blood drive?” It takes many; I’m so glad I have all of you!
AND…. the WINNER IS!!!!!???
Annemarie DelleDonne! Annemarie is the winner of our staff raffle. She wins a beautiful basket of Waterford crystal highball glasses, a drink shaker and… a bottle of Skinny Girl Cosmo mixer. Congrats! Annemarie. 🙂
Thank you to all who participated in our first PRIDE event of the 2016-2017 school year.
